“Having been a long-term supporter of both the IOR and IRM I am delighted to take up this appointment at a pivotal time for both Institutes.

As we enter the New Year we at the IRM are finalising our new strategic plan to continue the successful global expansion of the organisation with the goal of professionalising risk managers.

The global pandemic, climate change and the growing economic, societal and governance (ESG) agenda has firmly brought risk management into sharp focus, and it has never been more important for business to be armed to stay resilient.

I very much look forward to playing a key role in the future of the IRM and helping to shape the future of the profession.”
