Institute of Risk Management (IRM) Announces New Regional Group for the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain
The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) is delighted to announce that it is establishing a new Regional Group, jointly covering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Regional Group is chaired by Darren Mullan CFIRM, AECOM and former chair of IRM’s Infrastructure Risk Group, with Suzanne White and Mike Robertson also making up the initial planning committee.
“This new Regional Group reflects the increasing maturity of risk management as a discipline across the region, as well as the growing community of interest. The Regional Group’s goal is to support the wider risk management community across the region, provide continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities, raise awareness of the IRM as well as the expertise of its members, and promote the wider value of risk management as a discipline”.
The planning committee will soon announce details of its first event, but in the meantime if you are based in the region and want to be involved please contact Darren Mullan via: firstname.lastname@example.org
or visit the Regional Group’s webpage: /events/regional-groups/kingdoms-of-saudi-arabia-and-bahrain.aspx
Regional groups provide a forum for members from a diverse range of organisations, risk disciplines and sectors to network, exchange views and share best practice with peers locally.
