First Meeting announced under new Chair for the IRM Scotland Regional Group 

The IRM Scotland Regional Group will hold their next Meeting - “Mega Projects” - on the morning of Friday 20th September. It will be the first Meeting of the group since the announcement of its new Chair, Donna Festorazzi, CFIRM.

The Meeting will be hosted by Glasgow Caledonian University at their city centre campus, focussing on mega projects with speakers including Hazel Coupland, Risk Technical Principal at Mott McDonald, Alison Shaw, Risk and Value Manager at Network Rail and Mairead Keigher, European Programme Manager at Shift.

Topics will include the UN Charter on Business and Human Rights with Governments and Global Organisations, SRAs and how they are utilised in Nuclear Industry & the use of Value Management and Cost Risk Analysis to achieve business objectives and enhance decision making on large projects.  GCU will provide an update as to what is happening in the academic future of risk management.

The group look forward to welcoming IRM members to the Meeting, “For those working within an infrastructure risk environment, or looking to understand best practice in other industries, this event will provide you with an opportunity to share learnings from Senior Risk Managers and challenge your risk thinking” says Donna.
