Concessionary fees
We appreciate that some members may experience financial hardship, making it more difficult to pay your annual subscription. To help, we provide concessionary rates to members who are unemployed, unable to work due to sickness or disability, or taking a career break. Please download the concessionary application form below and send it to us at renewals@theirm.org with documentary evidence to support your application.
Each concessionary rate will be determined by IRM on an individual basis. Approval of a concessionary rate is valid for only one subscription year. If you wish to renew your subscription at a concessionary rate you must re-apply each year. Members may receive a concessionary rate for a period up to a maximum of 3 consecutive years.

Retired membership
If you have retired from work and are not receiving any income from employment, you can apply for retired membership status with a reduced subscription. Retired status offers all the benefits of membership including the continuous use of your membership designation, except for certified members who cannot be certified if not active. If you are a Certified Member you will switch to Member (MIRM), and if you are a Certified Fellow you will switch to Fellow (FIRM). Please download the concessionary application form below and send it to us at renewals@theirm.org.
