Our Regional and Special Interest Groups and IOR Chapters regularly run events. These are organised by our members who voluntarily run the groups and range from presentations, webinars, panel discussions, roundtables, and group meetings. Often high-profile speakers from different sectors are invited to speak and are on the whole described as highly insightful. Attendance at these events also earns CPD hours and can help with your professional development.

Non-members are able to attend the first three for free but then will be asked to join the institute in order to attend further events. Members can attend any event they like without limit.

Each event varies, but for the most part they are free. The fees for individual events are shown on the individual event’s page.

The Events Calendar on our website is the best place to see all of the upcoming events. For events run by groups, the Regional Group/Special Interest Group/Chapter hosting the event will be listed in the event title. Each group also has their own ‘Upcoming events’ section on their group page. Both of these listing types will have registration instructions if you wish to attend. These pages will also have a registration option to be added to the mailing list for future events. You will need to login to register.

The best way is to contact the group committees and state your interest in getting involved. Their contact details can be found on the right-hand side of the group’s page. Alternatively, you can contact events@theirm.org with any ideas and we can direct your query to the best group.

If you have any other queries or concerns, please contact us at events@theirm.org and we will be happy to assist you.
