As 2018 draws to a close, I am pleased to report another fantastic year for the Institute.  There’s more work to be done and we’ve got a plethora of activities taking place in November and December.

Risk Leaders: The next generation of Risk Management, our flagship annual conference is taking place in London on the 15th November where we will have the opportunity to discuss Brexit, AI, cyber, ethics, GDPR and more. More here: /riskleaders

We’re also delighted to be sponsoring the CIR 9th Annual Risk Awards, don’t miss out on a fabulous night where our peers will be recognised for their outstanding achievements.

IRM Annual Lecture on 6th December with a senior member of the Armed Forces who will be talking about strategic geopolitical risk management from a military standpoint.  It really does go to show how risk management truly affects every facet of our personal and working lives.

We’ve recently announced two partnerships with world leading academic institutions, Solvay Brussels School and the University of Warwick on developing an Executive Education Programme and our Digital Risk Management Certificate respectively.

Our Directors have been hotfooting across the globe setting up our Fundamentals of Risk Management course which is now running in Singapore and we’ve recently held networking meetings in India with the All India Management Association and exhibited and presented at an ERM conference in Dubai.

The relevancy and robustness of our qualifications is a keystone to what, we as an Institute believe in and as such are conducting a wholesale review of our Diploma in Risk Management. The survey can be found on our website or social media channels. It is imperative that we are equipping risk managers across the globe with the correct skills to be able to practice and make a positive impact to the running of an organisation.

As always, do contact me if you’d like to discuss any aspect of the above.
