Concessionary rates
IRM understands that, from time to time, some Members may experience financial hardship and find it difficult to pay their annual subscription. Concessionary rates are therefore available to Members who are unemployed, unable to work due to sickness or disability, or taking a career break. An application form can be downloaded here.
Retired membership
Members who have retired from business and are not receiving any income from employment may apply for retired membership status and a reduced subscription. Retired membership offers all the benefits of membership including the use of the designatory letters indicating an IRM qualification. An application form can be downloaded here.
What happens if I do not pay my subscription?
If you do not pay your membership subscription by 1 September 2011, your membership will lapse and your membership benefits will cease. Your name will be removed from the mailing list for the Risk Management Professional magazine. Access to the password protected areas of the website including the Online Resource Centre and Members’ Discussion Board will also be denied.
If you are a student enrolled on the Diploma course your access to the on-line Student support area including the Reading Room will be denied. You will also not be permitted to sit the examinations or receive your examination results.
