Introduction

There are many routes to Fellowship available. One of these is to submit a dissertation of the required standard. This route to Fellowship is particularly well suited to Associates who wish to further their academic qualifications, and also to students outside of the UK.

Proposing a topic

To submit a dissertation topic for consideration, please send the proposed title, together with a brief outline of the proposed dissertation to examinations@theirm.org or to the Dissertations Panel at the IRM, by fax or post.

Writing the dissertation

• The word count is 4500 to 5000 words
• There is no time limit for submission of the dissertation
• The dissertation must follow the dissertation guidelines
