Inaugural Meeting Thursday the 1st November 2007
Can I firstly thank everyone for expressing interest in joining the Northern Ireland Regional Group. The date of the 1st November 2007 has now been fixed at the time of 3.00pm.
If you want to add anything to the agenda please feel free to contact me. The following points will need to be dealt with.
1. A secretary will need to be appointed. One person has already kindly put their name forward to do this. That role involves being responsible for all administration eg arranging meetings: venues; hospitality; speakers; preparing and circulating minutes. The secretary must make full use of the IRM Website to communicate the activities such as publishing dates of meetings. If anyone else has an interest please let me know.
2. We will have to set aims and objectives. Apart from simply getting to know others who have been drawn to the IRM, I think one of the main aims must be to grown the group and that is something I would propose for the agenda.
3. If anyone has anything else they would like to add please let me know and I will circulate a final agenda in the week before.
