Global Risk Management Professional Development Forum

A new event for a new decade! The Professional Development Forum is Europe's only event dedicated to the advancement of professional skills in enterprise-wide risk management.

High profile failures in the financial services industry, a fragile planet, and increasing public frustration with how risk management is implemented in practice, have all conspired to put risk management under the spotlight. The IRM's Professional Development Forum is the place where everyone involved in risk management should come to exchange views on these issues and develop their own ability to deal with them.

2010 date and location

The Global Risk Management Professional Development Forum took place on:

Monday 19 April (pre-conference welcome evening), Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 April 2010

The Forum took place at Keele University, Staffordshire, UK

More for IRM students

IRM students will benefit from the Professional Development Forum’s new timing as Day One will be integrated with our Diploma, Specialist and Certificate revision workshops. Students will attend their own revision sessions throughout the day but will join the main conference programme for guest speaker sessions and networking breaks.

Networking

We believe networking is fundamental to performance as a risk professional so we have designed the Professional Development Forum to include plenty of opportunities for networking during refreshment breaks. Our expanded exhibition will provide opportunities to speak to providers of professional development services to risk managers all under one roof and delegates will also enjoy our our social evening, on a glamorous casino theme.
