Agenda

The focus of the meeting was risks associated with electronic disclosure. 

12 - 1pm - presentation will highlight the risks associated with the management of ESI both before and during legal proceedings in Europe.  Provide statistical information about how companies in Europe and the US are responding to these risks based on the outcome of Kroll Ontrack's 20089 ESI Survey.  Looking at emerging trends and best practices for information management. Draw out some of the lessons learned on the legal battle front to help companies shape information management policies and litigation readiness plans going forward.  Provide some guidance on the reduction of the risks associated with ESI. Talk about how a tangible return on investment comes from adopting an ESI strategy and from the tactical use of technology.  by Tracey Stretton, Legal Consultant at Kroll on Track.

The purpose of this meeting is to examine risks associated with the Legal Services Act and discuss how it will bring opportunities if risk is managed strategically. 

Two speakers have been arranged:

Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) will give an overview of changes in relation to the Legal Services Act (LSA)

A speaker from Shirlaw will also speak. Shirlaw is a consultancy that will highlight how the risk associated with the LSA will bring opportunities for law firms to develop their business.
