The
IRM hosted the 2003 Risk Forum in October
at Robinson College in Cambridge.
The theme, 'Managing Complexity' focused
on the breadth of pressures facing organisations
in today's world, particularly political
and economic risk, governance and regulation.

The Forum
was chaired by Lord Hunt of Wirral, supported
by a range of interesting and thought-provoking
keynote speakers to challenge delegates thinking,
including Steve Marshall, former chief executive
of Railtrack plc, Stephen James, chairman of the
International Group of P&I Clubs and George
Cox, Director General of the Institute of Directors.
Twenty workshops and masterclasses enabled delegates
to work closely in small groups to learn from
each other and from acknowledged leaders in risk
management best practice.
