Background
IRM was delighted to announce the launch of this new international baseline qualification in 2005, and to receive the judges special commendation for Risk Management Product of the Year, for the IRM Certificate, at The 2006 European Risk Management Awards
The IRM Certificate
is the result of extensive work with major employers
of risk professionals and IRM's own membership to identify
and design an entry-level qualification that spans the
wide range of areas today's risk professionals are involved
with. The first intake of Certificate students took place in the autumn of 2005; almost 200 students enrolled for the June 2006 exams.
