Maintain our world-class safety record as you assess, manage and ensure the safety of each of the journeys made on our network each day – and see the positive effects of your work 3.5 million times over.
With around 3.5m daily journeys made on London Underground (LU) and major engineering work taking place to further enhance the Tube, the safety of our staff and customers is paramount. In the midst of one of the largest transformations in our history, we have line upgrades and station developments happening all over the Capital – and a commitment to safety that’s equally impressive. London Underground is one of the safest metro systems in the world and, as Safety Risk Assessment Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our world class safety record.
You will be involved in reviewing and maintaining LU’s Quantified Risk Assessment which models the safety risk from incidents on the LU network. You will also play a role in the development and maintenance of an effective safety risk assessment framework for London Underground. Naturally, you’ll have a good understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment techniques, as well as excellent data analysis skills. Working closely at all levels across the organisation, you will be a superb presenter and communicator, and able to influence a wide range of audiences.
You will play a major role in safety decision making within LU and you will be given every opportunity to develop your skills on a diverse mix of projects.
