Our client is an energy trading firm and they are looking for a Senior Operational Risk Analyst with demonstrable energy experience to support the expansion of the Risk Management department and the continued growth of the organisation.

An excellent development opportunity, this role reports directly into the Head of Risk with the potential to assist with the expansion of the operational risk team over time.

Key responsibilities:

Operational Risk: develop, implement and manage the identification, assessment and reporting of operational risk and support business leads in the subsequent mitigation processes

Enterprise risk management:

• Support the overall risk management framework
• Support the development of a risk capital allocation framework and risk adjusted performance measures
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the full suite of risk procedures manuals

General duties: 

• Build effective relationships within the organisation, liaise fully with the risk management team and other Risk Management professionals in the Group
• Develop and deliver appropriate process and procedures documentation to support the Risk Management’s objectives
• Maintain functional and technical risk management knowledge
