An exciting opportunity to work within the Operational Risk team ensuring Barclaycard maintains a strong system of internal control and complies with the requirements of the Operational Risk Framework. This is delivered via effective business partnering, relationship management and oversight.   

What you will need?

You will have established Risk and control techniques (e.g. risk assessment, risk mitigation, risk management), governance methods, facilitation and influencing.

A Risk type specialism (e.g. business continuity management, data privacy) and risk event management.

A good understanding and awareness of the financial services industry, working knowledge of internal and external risk and/or governance and control management techniques. Plus previous experience gained in risk and control type function (or, for example, experience gained from being responsible for control activities in an operational role)
