You will be supporting the implementation and maintenance of risk management best practice throughout the business, and take the lead to ensure and demonstrate that risk management is delivering real value.
Specifically, this will support business risk analysis, effectiveness of the risk process and the reporting of risk performance against key performance indicators. You will support senior management focus by providing timely and responsive risk management direction that enables effective integration with other business processes including Quantitative Risk Modelling and Business Continuity.
Running an effective Risk Assurance programme, you will need to be able to ensure that the process mitigates risk and ultimately limits overall exposure through demonstrable and continual improvement of business risk management & risk maturity. You will also work with our partners to ensure a joined-up and consistent approach to risk.
You will bring with you extensive knowledge of risk management principles and practices along with experience of implementing industry best practice within a large and complex organisation. Along with a clear understanding of the technical challenges this presents, you will need to apply your innovative approach to performance-related issues with the aim of minimising their potential impact. A skilled communicator, you will also be adept at forging and establishing collaborative relationships at all levels.
