Operational Risk Managers x 3

The Risk Management Department provide risk management solutions to organisations of all sizes and in all sectors including national and local government, non-profit organisations, retail, leisure and entertainment, engineering, manufacturing, process industries and utilities.

As a result of our continued growth and success we are now looking to recruit 3 additional Operational Risk Managers to cover the locations below;

  • Scotland - Office base could be in Glasgow, Dundee or Edinburgh  
  • North/Midlands - Office base could be in Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds
  • South/South East - Office base could be in London or Ipswich

The positions will report into the Practice Leader who heads up the Health and Safety function of the Risk Management Department.

The overall purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the identification and communication of risk for both business and insurance placement purposes.

The key accountabilities involve delivery of a wide range of services such as;

  • Auditing safety management systems
  • Provision of bespoke training
  • Acting as a retained competent person for a range of clients
  • Conducting fire risk assessments
  • Provision of general advice and support. 

Skills and Experience Required

  • You must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of working in an operational safety role
  • You will be well-organised, self motivated and enthusiastic
  • You will be confident in dealing with and engaging a wide range of people
  • You must be able to travel as part of the role
  • You should also have the ability to work both alone and as part of a team and posses excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • You will already hold a NEBOSH Diploma and you will ideally have chartered membership of IOSH
