Robert Half International represents this FTSE 100 listed utilities business in Birmingham seeking a highly skilled and proven Risk & Compliance Manager.

A newly created role, you will be responsible for the on going development, maintenance and implementation of the corporate risk/compliance policy within this blue chip structure. Your role will require you to develop quality risk and compliance information against the business objectives; to create and maintain applicable polices and processes; address key issues within the business and work with all departments to advise and have positive input relevant to their individual risk strategies; to provide solutions to embed risk management practice into the business.

You will also require an in-depth understanding of control frameworks such as COSO and again, be able to demonstrate success in implementation. This role requires significant and proven experience in developing enterprise risk management strategy (ERM) in a large and complex blue chip business and any exposure to a regulated businesses such as electricity, water, gas would be highly relevant. Any exposure to compliancy and regulatory process such as IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley would be beneficial.

In conjunction with the above, your career will likely have taken you through a professional accreditation and my client seeks IRM, and/or IIA, ACA/ACCA or ACMA.
