Working in our Airline team based in Luton, as an Occupational Risk Manager you will develop, monitor and maintain the occupational Health & Safety procedures and standards, ensure regulatory compliance and drive excellence in occupational Health & Safety performance.

What do we look for in an Occupational Risk Manager?
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Chartered Member of IOSH (or Member)
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulation
- IRM or risk management qualification desirable
- Previous experience within an airline or comparable business environment desirable

What will you do as an Occupational Risk Manager?
- Monitor health and safety legislation and standards and advise managers across the airline department on measures to be taken to ensure compliance
- Establish incident reporting and investigation procedures and assist management in monitoring incident reports
- Facilitate risk identification, prioritisation, profiling and the development of action plans to mitigate airline employee occupational health and safety risks and hazards
- Collaborate with the insurance department in managing all airline Employers Liability Claims and provide evidence and information in support of claims
- Deliver Health & Safety and risk management training and awareness materials to improve the knowledge and competence of all employees
- In conjunction with HR, establish a risk management framework and associated procedures in relation to the employment of personnel
