We’re looking for a commercially driven industry professional to develop and deliver a robust Risk Management framework across the organisation. Leading a small team and working in close collaboration with fellow risk professionals and divisional risk champions, it will be your job to promote an enterprise-wide culture of risk management awareness and competence. With long term commercial objectives firmly in mind, you’ll have significant input into a range of investment, operational and change management programmes; assessing, advising and reporting to the management board on key business risks and opportunities whilst reconciling multiple stakeholders’ expectations.

Knowledge of the Utilities sector and its statutory, regulatory and competitive environments would be beneficial. A firm grasp of the theory and practical application of risk management supported by a relevant professional qualification is essential. As a highly visible advocate of the commercial benefits of risk management, you’ll also need to have considerable personal gravitas and influencing skills. As Risk Management continues to play an increasingly pivotal role in our business, you’ll find this a stimulating environment in which to develop not only your skills but your professional profile as well.
