The SOX Business Partner is the primary point of contact for SOX matters for a Specialist Business Unit.  The Business Partner is responsible for supporting and advising the Specialist Business Units SOX process and control owners, as well as the Specialist Business Unit FD and Operational Risk colleagues, on all SOX related matters.  This includes scoping, documentation maintenance, the identification and remediation of SOX relevant issues, and the quarterly attestation process.  The SOX Business Partner is also responsible for testing the Design Effectiveness of the Specialist Business Unit's Control Activities processes and the Operating Effectiveness of Control Activities controls.

What you will need?

You will have an excellent knowledge and background in identifying, documenting, testing and reviewing controls over financial reporting. Excellent communication & influencing skills with quality consciousness and an attention to detail.

You will show the ability to work on several tasks concurrently and with drive, determination and flexibility.

Experience in applying the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act within Financial Services organisations is desirable, as is practical experience of working with risk & control frameworks in either an external or internal audit capacity.
