We are currently recruiting a Risk Development Lead to support and work with our Head of Enterprise Risk to champion risk management across BT Lines of Business. You will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders in identifying and implementing enhancements to their risk management processes, bringing support and challenging the status quo whilst embedding Risk Management improvements into the business.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Supporting Lines of Business in enhancing and embedding risk management, working with both the risk teams in those units and the wider business.

- Supporting risks owners in the management and reporting of their risks, advising on risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

- Contributing to the Group Risk Management team’s operation of the Enterprise Risk Management process, including the reporting of risk up to Group Executive and Board level.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A detailed practical knowledge of all aspects of Risk Management, gained in either a consultancy or an operational environment.

- A track record of success in developing risk management capabilities in large-scale complex organizations, and ideally within a regulated environment.

- Experience of managing risk in large-scale, complex projects and programmes.

- Clear communicator, strong presentation and negotiation skills, capable of engaging at all levels of the organization including at Board level.

- Educated to graduate level and professionally qualified in risk management and/or an accounting qualification.
