IRM Committees

Although the IRM has many members, it is relatively small in terms of staff. The work is done by a small committed office team, the Board of Directors (all of whom give their time voluntarily), and groups consisting of IRM members (also volunteers) with IRM staff, sometimes supported by professional experts. Advisory groups, project teams and stakeholder forums are set up as necessary.

As a members' organisation, a major source of IRM's strength is the depth and breadth of involvement of the many members who contribute through these committees to our development and growth. Finance & General Purposes Committee

Responsible for:

• HR
• Remuneration
• Infrastructure
• Risk management

Membership: two/three directors, Financial Controller, Chief Executive, accountant and Chairman

Meets: six times a year

Governance Committee

Responsible for:

• Corporate governance
• Audit
• Nomination of directors
• First point of contact for disciplinary committee
• Complaints

Membership: two/three directors, Chief Executive, auditor, Company Secretary and Chairman
