The Institute recognises that a 'one size fits all' approach to education does not work. Therefore, the IRM have developed a 'pyramid' of education and training programmes that enables individuals to build knowledge and skills at their own pace according to their career and personal needs.
International Certificate in Risk Management
IRM's Certificate is a six to nine month broad introductory qualification in the theory and practice of risk management. Click here Certificate
You should consider the Certificate if:
- you want eventually to do the diploma but don't fulfil any of the other entry criteria
- you want a qualification in risk management but are unsure about the level of study for the Diploma (i.e. postgraduate) or the time commitment involved and want to try out studying to see how you get on
- you already hold a high level professional qualification in your main work discipline and want to demonstrate that you are also aware of the wider risk management context
International Diploma in Risk Management
IRM's Diploma is a broadly based postgraduate qualification for the risk management professional. Offered on a part time, flexible, distance learning basis, it provides the opportunity to obtain an internationally recognised risk qualification that is independent of any business sector. Fellowship
