Students who successfully complete the Certificate in Risk Management will receive a certificate of completion and an invitation to apply for Certificant membership of the Institute.  Certificant members are entitled to use the designatory letters CIRM after their name.

Certificant members of the Institute may also apply to continue their studies and to enrol on the IRM International Diploma in Risk Management leading to full Membership (MIRM) and subsequently, Fellow (FIRM), the Institute's most senior grade of membership.
