The Institute will notify students when they can access their results online, as soon as possible after the examinations. Successful students will receive a certificate confirming they have completed the qualification. 

Moderation process

IRM has a stringent moderation process for setting and marking examinations. The aim of the Institute's moderation process is to ensure:

• Quality assurance

• Examination papers are set in accordance with principles set by IRM

• Consistency and accuracy in marking each examination paper

Examiner review and feedback report

IRM aims to ensure that all assessments are marked fairly, consistently and accurately. Students w ho achieve a Fail can pay a fee to receive feedback on their examination script. This service is NOT available for those who achieve a Pass, Merit or Distinction grade. The examination script will be reviewed by an IRM examiner who will produce feedback identifying areas where the student could have improved their performance and answers. All review requests must be made in writing.
